This comprehensive safari takes you through the very best of Kenya's Great Rift Valley and the world-famous Masai Mara. It is the perfect introduction to the country's diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife.

You'll start by exploring the dramatic scenery of Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake teeming with birdlife and hippos. Next, you'll visit Lake Nakuru National Park, a crucial sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. Finally, you'll spend two unforgettable days in the Masai Mara, tracking the Big Five across its vast, rolling plains.

Sample Itinerary (7 Days)

  Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

  Depart Nairobi and head down into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari to see hippos and a guided nature walk on Crescent Island.

  Day 2: Naivasha to Lake Nakuru

  After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, famous for its rhino population and stunning birdlife, including flamingos when water levels are suitable.

  Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

  Depart Nakuru after an early breakfast and travel to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive as the sun begins to set.

  Day 4: Full Day in the Mara

  A full day dedicated to exploring the Mara. Search for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and the elusive leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

  Enjoy a final early morning game drive, often the best time for predator activity. After breakfast, begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
